“It was once called hacking. And now its a billon doller business… its called H*Commerce “

Today Internet banking and online transactions have been really safe and secure, but still you need to be very careful.

This is the message that we get from a series of documentary by the Anti-Virus giant McAfee. This documentary shows how this once called hobby for basement-dwellers and computer geeks, has evolved into a full fledged industry that preys on people livelihoods, turning their information into billions of profit. something which was believed to be merely a nuisance, is now actively trying to steal your personal information, severely damaging your credit or empty you bank account. This industry is know as HCommerce

McAfee, Inc

As far as the documentary is concern its a real story of a lady who get stuck in such a situation … who is illiterate of all this happening. She exposed her credit card to a City Bank alike site and try to do some online transaction which end up in cleaning her retired husbands whole earning and a huge million doller credit damage.

This documentary also show cases some ex hackers and now a white hat (ethical hackers) helping this leady to track down the team and try to recover her lost assets. Also lots of comments from some of the all time Big IT gients including Apples Steve Woxniak.

Its really a grate way to educate people about the so called H*Commerce along with the site being a gateway for McAfee to market the new upcoming product in this arena.

Did they succeded in tracking the hackers ?? …. for that you will have to watch this documentary on McAfees Stop H*Commerce site …
