Facebook to set operations team in India, Hyderabad

Social Networking giant FacebookFacebook is ready to keep its foot steps in IndiaIndia reviews by starting its first operation team in Hyderabad India.

According to Facebooks blog, Facebook has seen a huge growth in past year and hence the need of good user support team is very valid. Facebook has already reached 400 millions users and 70 % of its users is out of US. Also, according to their statistics 8 million users are daily Facebook users. (WoOw isnt that a big number ) And would be the main reason for a office in India.

Facebook will be starting with a small team working on Facebook Advertisement platform, Support and Product development along with some sales process in India. It will also focus on helping the Facebook apps developers / company with their query with the Facebook platform. check out the blog . It would not be wrong to suspect that Facebook would be planing for some new features and products soon.

In past we have seen that many growing MNC’s attracted towards India due to its cheap labor cost and talented brains. And thats one of the major reason many company opt India when then they think of iterating their business. Orkut and GMailGmail are some good examples, GoogleGoogle shifted its support and operations for GMail in India when they found their mail business kicking off.

Hope Twitter bird will also find its way to India.
