ASUS has launched a new series of Eee Pad collection and one among them is new Eee Pad – Transformer. It is a touch screen net-book which can be transformed in to a tablet by detaching it from its keypad docking.
Eee Pad Transformer is 12.98mm thick in a frame that weighs only 680g, it is powered by the NVIDIA® Tegra™ 2 dual-core processor and latest version of Google Android-3 Honeycomb OS with ASUS Waveshare UI. It support Flash Player 10.2 and Polaris Office for mobile device.
Best part is the battery life, it has around 9 hrs of battery life in the touch pad which can be extended upto 16 hrs with the help of keyboard docking station. The keyboard docking station has QWERTY keys along with android shortcut keys.
The Transformer browses the web at blazing speeds, providing a snappier response time and better performance when multi-tasking. Sporting a HDMI 1.3a port, the Transformer can connect to a HDTV and 5.1 surround sound system, delivering an enhanced multimedia experience.
It has a 5MP rear- and 1.2MP front-facing camera can shoot and record HD video, which can be played back in stunning 1080p. You can output the HD video using the HDMI port within it.
