LG Unveils World’s First 65-Inch Rollable OLED TV

LG Unveils World’s First 65-Inch Rollable OLED TV: If you remember, in the past LG already displayed a futuristic 18-inch OLED TV that could be rolled up. So, what looks imaginary is now possible. The company has just announced an enormous 65-inch TV which can be rolled up as a paper.

The South Korean Giant, LG exhibited a 65-inch prototype during the Consumer Electronics Show 2018, which is held in Las Vegas, USA. However, having a foldable TV might not seem very engaging at first, but LG’s goal isn’t specifically to sell the Foldable TV, but to demonstrate the prototype.

As we already mentioned, this is not the first time LG had shown a similar technology. Way back in 2016, the company exhibited a prototype of 18 inch OLED, resolution of only 1200×810 pixels and not very vivid colors.

So the latest innovation came after two years, a 65-inch 4K OLED TV that can be fully wrapped inside a base that, according to the company, is the size of a traditional soundbar.

The TV that LG showcased has 4K resolution and 3.1 sound system. Not only these, the TV also uses Crystal sound technology, which leverages the screen itself to emit sound.

So, it looks like we could soon have a folding TV that can be stored anywhere by saving some space. Not only this, users can only set up TV when they want, and can also be transported to different places with ease.
